This guide is for plant managers, maintenance teams and buyers who have rollers or metal parts that need a coating. We offer two coating services: PU coating and rubber coating. Here is how our catalogue describes each, and what to send us so we can quote the job.
Two coating services
Both services appear in our catalogue under coating services. They are not the same, so read each description before you decide.
- PU coating: polyurethane coating support for wear protection, grip, impact resistance and surface durability.
- Rubber coating: protective rubber coating for rollers, metal parts, lining, insulation and anti-slip applications.
Our catalogue gives no further detail on thickness, hardness or process. We confirm these with you for each job. So do not expect a standard coating that fits every part.
PU coating for wear and grip
Our catalogue lists PU coating for wear protection, grip, impact resistance and surface durability. Look at your problem first. Start with your problem: a worn roller, a part that slips, or a surface that is hit often.
Tell us what the part does and what damages it. Tell us if it carries a load, drives a belt or sheet, or takes knocks, and if it touches oil, water or cleaning fluid.
Rubber coating for rollers and metal parts
Our catalogue lists rubber coating for rollers, metal parts, lining, insulation and anti-slip applications. This covers a wide range of jobs, so describe yours clearly.
For a roller, tell us how it runs. Say what it moves, how fast it turns and whether it carries a load. For a flat or fixed part, say what the coating must do: protect the metal, insulate it or stop slipping.
If you are not sure whether to choose PU or rubber, tell us the job and the problem. We will help you choose, and we will say plainly if we need more information.
Coating work is quoted per job, so a clear brief matters. Wrong details at the start mean a wrong quote, and a delay for you. Take a few minutes to gather the facts below before you write to us.
We do not quote a coating from a part name alone. Two rollers with the same name can have different sizes, different loads and different damage.
Send a drawing or photos
A drawing or photos help us quote. Where you can, send a drawing that shows:
- The overall length and diameter, or the main dimensions, with units
- The area to be coated, marked clearly
- The sizes that matter on the finished part
If you have no drawing, send photos with a ruler beside the part. If the roller is worn, tell us what has worn.
Tell us the use and the parts
The same roller can be coated in different ways depending on its work. Tell us:
- What the part does in your machine or line
- What touches it: product, oil, water, chemicals or heat
- The load and the speed, if it is a roller
- Whether the old coating failed, and how: worn, cracked, peeled or damaged by a fluid
Send a photo of the damage if you can. Tell us how many parts you have and whether you have a spare. If you have several parts, send them with a list and mark each one so it matches its drawing. We will tell you what we need to quote.
You can read about our other products on the industrial materials page. If you need product documents for the coating, ask us when you request the quote.
What to send us for a quote
Send us this information, and we will confirm the coating and the job:
- Which service you want, PU coating or rubber coating, or tell us if you are not sure
- A drawing of the part, or photos with a ruler beside it
- The main sizes, the area to coat and the areas to leave uncoated
- What the part does, and what touches it
- Load and speed for a roller, and how the old coating failed
- How many parts you have
Request a quote on our website or message us on WhatsApp, and we will tell you what else we need.
