This guide is for buyers, maintenance managers and facility teams in Sharjah and across the UAE who need industrial casters. We are Al Rawaa General Trading LLC, an authorized distributor of HOD caster wheels, in Industrial Area 18, Sharjah. Here is what to check, and what a clear quotation lists, so your first order is the right one.

Start with the load per caster

Casters are rated per caster, not per trolley. Our guide to caster load capacity shows how to work out the figure for your trolley.

Do not choose from the series name alone. Choose from your load, then check the fitting, the wheel and the brake. Our caster finder filters models by load, mounting, brake and wheel material.

Three HOD series by load

Our catalogue lists HOD casters in many series. Here are three of them, from light to heavy. The ranges are per caster.

The light duty series is listed at 8 to 65 kg, with PU or TPR wheels. It comes as swivel and rigid top plate casters and swivel threaded stem casters.

The medium duty series is the HOD 51 and 52 range. Single bearing models are listed at 30 to 160 kg and double bearing models at 35 to 170 kg. It lists top plate, threaded stem and bolt hole fittings, with brake options.

The heavy duty series is the HOD 72 and 73 range, listed at 120 to 505 kg. It comes as swivel, swivel with brake and rigid top plate casters, in several wheel materials.

If your load sits between two ranges, or close to the top of one, tell us. We will confirm which series to quote. Our catalogue also lists other series, such as medium / heavy duty, stainless steel and pneumatic.

What a clear quotation lists

A quotation that names only "heavy duty caster" leaves too much open. A clear quotation lists:

  • The series and the full model code for each caster.
  • The load per caster for that exact wheel option, not a general figure.
  • The wheel material and the fitting: top plate, threaded stem or bolt hole.
  • Whether each model is swivel, rigid or swivel with brake.
  • The quantity, so it matches the number of casters on your trolley.

If you buy for more than one trolley, list each one on its own line. A site can have trolleys with different loads and fittings, and each needs its own series and model code.

If your quality team needs product documents, ask us in the enquiry and tell us which models you mean.

Tell us about your site

Dust, heat, water, oil and cleaning chemicals all affect which wheel and bracket material you need.

We cannot choose a wheel from a word such as "outdoor" or "hot" alone. Tell us what is on the floor, how often the trolley moves, and what the hottest and wettest points on its route are. We will confirm the right series.

If you are not sure how to describe a condition, send a photo of the trolley in use. A photo of the floor and the route helps us as much as a written note.

Our catalogue also lists high-temperature, conductive, shock absorbing and other special series. If your site needs one of them, say so, and we will check it against your conditions.

Send photos and measurements

You do not need to know every term. Keep the old caster and send what you can. Our guide to replacement caster measurements lists what to photograph and measure. Our guide to top plate, threaded stem and bolt hole casters helps you name the fitting.

You can send your enquiry through our website or on WhatsApp. Our address is Industrial Area 18, Sharjah, UAE.

What to send us for a quote

  • What the trolley or equipment is, and what it carries.
  • Total loaded weight and the number of casters.
  • Fitting: top plate, threaded stem, bolt hole or another fitting, with a photo.
  • Rigid, swivel or brake, and how many of each.
  • The floor type, and what is on it: water, oil, dust or chemicals.
  • The hottest point on the route, if there is one.
  • A photo of the old caster, or its code if you can read it.
  • The quantity you need.

Request a quote on our website or message us on WhatsApp, and we will confirm the right series for your trolley.
